Bobby Lo is a startup founder, investor, and advisor.
As Founder and CEO of his most recent startup Vurb, Bobby introduced a new paradigm for mobile search and messaging - with Vurb winning TechCrunch Disrupt NYC in 2014 before being acquired by Snapchat two years later as their largest acquisition at that time. Collectively, Bobby’s startups have generated over $500M in shareholder value. Bobby was also a management consultant at BCG, specializing in the consumer, travel, and technology practices.
Currently, Bobby actively invests in startups across all stages and industries, with a portfolio of 40+ companies. Areas of interest include enterprise SaaS, healthcare, data, and consumer social. He works closely as advisor and founder coach to several startups - helping in areas such as product design, strategy, and fundraising. He is also on the Board of Directors at Sprig, a fast-growing user insights startup backed by Accel and a16z.
